Ancient sounds from the Basque Country in Santiago
We visit a txalapartas workshop in Santiago de Compostela from the Oreka Tx duo. They started in 1997 with the fanmous basque accordionist placer Kepa Juntera, they have shared the stage with Galician musicians like Carlos Nuñez, Susana Seivane and Berrogüetto. The txalaparta is a traditional percussion instrument from the Basque country.
